A structure and
human approach
Affairs treated
with diligence by the lawyer are remunerated by fees that must be
reasonable and fair.
They are
established taking into consideration the following factors:
- Time
attributed to the case;
- Nature and
difficulty of the case;
- Importance of
interests in jeopardy;
- Advantages and
results obtained in favour of the client;
- Lawyer’s
experience;
- Assumed
responsibility;
- Rendering of
unusual professional services requiring exceptional competence and
promptness;
- Result
obtained;
- Judicial and
extra-judicial fees attached to the rates.
Office expenses
are also included in the lawyer’s fees.
In certain cases,
a percentage of the resulting end amount, agreed upon with the
client can be added to the fixed rate.
